***This tutorial was written in/for Win98/98SE, but also applies to WinXP. The boxes in the screenshots below will look different but the settings are basically the same. |
| Open a new message.....plain text or stationery. If it's a plain text message, make sure you have Rich Text selected, then go to Format, Background, Sound. |

| This box will pop up. Click on Browse and navigate to where you have your midis saved. The default folder is C:\Windows\Media You can create your own folders anywhere on your hard drive to hold your midis. |

| When this box comes up, select a midi or wave by clicking on it and click Open (The little black triangle will drop a menu down to select midis or waves: ie.......Audio Files for waves and Midi Files for midi) |

| Set the number of times you want the midi to play or check "continuously" then click OK. That's all there is to it! You're finished. |
